The Adult Issues North chapter is open to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder- Not Otherwise Specified), and Nonverbal Learning Disability), and their families and friends. We provide support, education and advocacy. We encourage active participation of our members to foster a positive, problem-solving approach to our challenges.

We host two parties a year in January and June to provide a comfortable environment for socializing. Our remaining schedule offers support and program meetings. Our program meetings include speakers, films and forums. We do not offer recreational outings. Our December meeting is our annual planning meeting, where all are encouraged to offer their ideas to improve our chapter.

We usually meet on the third Wednesday of the month, except for December, when we meet on the second Wednesday, and our forums, which are held on a weekend to allow for a more in-depth discussion. We do not meet during July or August.
